RESTAURANT AGREEMENT · 2026-08-15-GB-1
Dineinto Restaurant Agreement — United Kingdom
Effective and last updated: 15 August 2026
This document combines Dineinto’s universal platform terms with the country schedule selected for a restaurant operating in United Kingdom. Electronic acceptance is recorded with the account holder’s name, selected country, date, time, and agreement version.
1. Service and account authority
Dineinto provides restaurant ordering, QR menus, tables, reservations, staff access, reporting, integrations, and related software tools. The person creating an owner account confirms that they are authorised to act for the restaurant and that the information supplied is accurate.
2. Restaurant responsibilities
- Keep account credentials secure and assign staff roles correctly.
- Maintain accurate menu, price, VAT, calorie, allergen, branch, and availability information.
- Comply with applicable food, consumer, tax, privacy, and commercial requirements.
- Handle customer service, order fulfilment, refunds, and restaurant-side payment disputes.
3. Payments and subscriptions
Starter restaurants collect customer payments internally. Restaurant-owned gateways available with eligible Pro features settle directly to the restaurant; Dineinto does not hold the restaurant’s food-order funds. Dineinto’s own Pro software subscription is billed separately. Fees, renewal terms, taxes, and cancellation options are shown before subscription purchase.
4. Data, integrations, and support access
The restaurant controls the business and guest information it enters. Dineinto may process that information to operate, secure, support, and improve the service. When support is requested, authorised Dineinto platform administrators may inspect and correct relevant restaurant configuration. Connected services, including POS and payment providers, remain subject to their own terms.
5. Acceptable use
Users must not misuse the service, attempt unauthorised access, upload unlawful or harmful content, interfere with platform availability, or use Dineinto to mislead customers.
6. Availability, suspension, and termination
We may maintain, update, limit, or suspend access when reasonably needed for security, legal compliance, non-payment, or misuse. Restaurants may stop using Starter or manage a paid subscription through the available billing controls. Required records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
7. Liability and contact
Dineinto is provided with reasonable care but uninterrupted operation cannot be guaranteed. To the extent permitted by law, indirect or consequential losses are excluded. Mandatory statutory rights are not limited. Questions can be sent to support@dineinto.com.
8. International use and applicable law
Restaurants must use Dineinto in accordance with the laws and regulatory requirements that apply where they operate. Any country-specific terms or service notices presented by Dineinto form part of this agreement for that market. Nothing in this agreement excludes mandatory rights, obligations, remedies, or jurisdiction rules that cannot lawfully be excluded under the applicable local law. The parties should first try to resolve any dispute in good faith by contacting Dineinto support.
COUNTRY SCHEDULE · UNITED KINGDOM
United Kingdom terms and data processing schedule
The laws of England and Wales govern this schedule, subject to mandatory laws and jurisdiction rules that cannot lawfully be excluded. The restaurant remains responsible for its food-service, consumer, tax and direct-marketing compliance.
Controller and processor roles
For guest, order, reservation, loyalty and restaurant staff information entered into the service, the restaurant is the Controller and appoints Dineinto as its Processor. Dineinto will process that personal data only on the restaurant’s documented instructions, including the instructions contained in this agreement, unless UK law requires otherwise.
Processing details
- Subject and purpose: operating QR menus, orders, service requests, reservations, loyalty, messaging, reporting, support and enabled integrations.
- Duration: while the restaurant uses the service and for the limited retention period required for deletion, security, legal claims and statutory obligations.
- People: guests, customers, restaurant owners, staff and authorised users.
- Data: contact details, order and reservation records, table and service activity, loyalty activity, account details, technical logs and communications. Restaurants must not intentionally submit special-category data unless Dineinto has expressly agreed in writing.
Dineinto processor commitments
- Ensure authorised personnel are bound by confidentiality and access data only as necessary.
- Maintain appropriate technical and organisational security measures proportionate to the processing risk.
- Notify the restaurant without undue delay after becoming aware of a personal-data breach affecting its data.
- Provide reasonable assistance with data-subject requests, security duties, breach notifications, impact assessments and regulator consultations.
- On termination, delete or return personal data as instructed, except where law or legitimate security and legal-record requirements require limited retention.
- Provide information reasonably necessary to demonstrate compliance and permit proportionate audits subject to confidentiality, security and reasonable notice.
- Notify the restaurant if an instruction appears to infringe applicable data-protection law.
Subprocessors and international transfers
The restaurant gives general written authorisation for Dineinto to use subprocessors needed to provide hosting, database, authentication, communications, payment connectivity, monitoring and support. Dineinto will require materially equivalent data-protection obligations, remain responsible for their contracted processing, provide notice of material changes and allow a reasonable opportunity to object. Restricted transfers from the UK will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism and required safeguards.
